Greenhouse/Farm Worker. Farm Labourer. YEAR ROUND.

Several positions available.

Seasonal/Full-time some on-call, overtime.  Day, evening, and WEEKENDS required.
Wage starts at Nova Scotia Minimum Wage, for 40-72 Hours per week, some tasks paid by piece work.  Productivity bonuses available for some tasks.

Anticipated Start date: Various start dates for successful candidates. (Seasonal positions available. See below.)

Tasks include: picking, packing, crop/ plant maintenance, cleaning, record keeping, weeding, farm maintenance, and general farm tasks. Prior experience in agriculture preferred, but not required. Will train suitable candidates. This is a fast-paced environment, minimum productivity required, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, large workload, continuous learning.  Indoors/outdoors, at heights, wet/humid, extreme hot/cold.

Essential Skills: attendance, flexibility, grit, perseverance, working with others, problem solving, critical thinking, significant use of memory, continuous learning.  Speed, accuracy, teachability and attention to detail required.  Must be able to reach minimum of 190cm.
