Mini cucumbers are crispier and have a slightly sweeter flavour than the larger variety. Minis make a fresh, healthy snack on the go! They also look amazing on a veggie platter and taste great in salads! Their flavour makes a tasty sweet pickle or relish. Our cucumbers are often in your supermarket within 1-3 days from picking.
Selecting the best: Look for cucumbers that are firm and evenly coloured. But don’t squeeze them! This will shorten their shelf-life. Cucumbers can last up to a couple weeks. (Hint: If you see mini cucumbers going yellow they’re probably old. We clean out our coolers 2-3 times a week minimum. So you can be sure they were fresh when they left our dock;).
Storing: Always store cucumbers in their original wrap or in a container after opening. This will keep the cucumbers fresh and crisp. Our convenient grab’n go bag makes this easy and convenient.
